Tempting Faith - What is the future of the GOP?
Keith Olbermann is making a name for himself as an outspoken critic of Bush and his cohort of criminals. There has been some speculation about the reasons behind this. Perhaps he got the 'ok' from the powers that be and Bush is being tossed to the wolves. Perhaps he simply grew a backbone or just finally snapped. Some may say it's six years to late, but I'd say at least it's something. There is so little truth coming out of the mainstream media that any voice in a storm is a welcome one as far as I'm concerned. I wonder though, if he did not get the ok from above, if perhaps he's going to far by shedding light on the differences between the Neo Conservatives and the Christian Right. This hits the GOP with a double blow, where it really hurts; in the wallet and in the voting booth. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. Anyway, here are the videos.
Tempted by Faith Part 1
Tempted by Faith Part 2
The controversial book, Tempting Faith: An Inside Story of Political Seduction by David Kuo, former Deputy Director of the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, is due out this week and details the use and abuse of Evengelical Christians by some in the Bush administration, particularly Karl Rove.
This is certainly no news to me. I've long wondered about the dual nature of the Republican party. On one side you have the so called 'Neocons', who apparently are willing to do anything, including covering up pedophile activity among their own, as long as they get to continue feeding the war machine and shovelling the money of future generations into the pockets of the military-industrial-security-oil-pharma corporate hydra. On the other side, the 'Paleocons' who at one time stood for family values, small government and fiscal responsibility but have now been tainted by those who usurped their party.
It's strange, because the Neocons are small in number and it's no secret in Washington that they despise their Paleocon Christian 'cousins'. One would think that the real Conservatives would have woken up by now and either taken back their party or split off on their own. Perhaps it's only a lack of leadership that is keeping that from happening. Surely the people themselves are disgusted. Just the other day I was watching Washington Journal on C-Span and most of the Republicans who called in said they would not be voting at all in this election, out of disgust. There were also several callers who said they'd be voting Libertarian and even a couple who said they would vote Democrat.
I have to wonder how the Neocons plan to pull off their voter fraud this time without the boots on the ground to make a plausable case for some unbeknownst tsunami conservative of voter turnout.
I'd say this to those disillusioned and disenfranchised conservatives; is it not time to make a break, divest from what has become the 'party of death' and stand up for what you profess to believe in? In the modern era there has never been a riper time for a third party. The ball is in your court.

Hello Tsoldrin and all,
Here's some more red-hot ink for your pen. Keep the heat on our evil leader in chief and his cohorts and help me "vanquish the sword!"
More stunning proof that Christians are easily duped into supporting blatant evil
The latest book of stunning revelations titled "Tempting Faith" by former Bush Administration insider David Kuo provides compelling first-hand evidence that the Christian Right was purposely duped into providing pivotal political support and cover for a host of crimes and excesses by Republican leaders and the Whitehouse. This book and the Foley fiasco are serving to awaken Christians to the undeniable fact that they have been deceived into abetting the evil deeds of duplicitous scoundrels, once again.
The events of recent years and the several millennia before them have provided us with comprehensive proof that religion is the chosen and purposeful tool of great deceivers. Whether we view the actions of the Temple priesthood of ancient Israel that conspired with Greco-Roman invaders, the sad and sordid history of the Vatican and Papacy, Christian crusaders and colonizers, injustices by leaders and followers of Islam, the oppression of Palestinians by the State of Israel, or the more recent activities of the so-called Christian Right and Republican Party, religious followers are regularly and easily misled into supporting obvious evil.
In recent years, I have produced stunning and comprehensive proof of purposeful deception in the canons of all three Faiths of Abraham and struggled to alert people to this and to related upcoming events and situations. Due to "poisoning of the waters" by deluded religious leaders and followers over the centuries, most have greeted my efforts with derision or indifference, thereby failing to pay attention long enough to discern the accuracy of my research and assertions. Starting with the perfectly timed Atlantic hurricanes of 2004 and 2005, a small number of people, some of them in government leadership positions, began to recognize the truth of my conclusions and assertions. The events of the last year-plus, starting with the ramifications from hurricanes Katrina and Rita, have helped to sweep away many of the facades erected by the Bush-Cheney crew and cohorts. Many of their deceptions have been exposed, their greed and arrogance proven, the myth of their competence destroyed, and most recently the depths of their duplicity and hypocrisy have been illuminated by a series of stunning revelations.
Nonetheless, the so-called Christian Right has continued faithfully supporting them, in spite of mountains of evidence that should have dissuaded any clear-thinking soul. The recent non-stop flood of stunning evidence leaves little doubt that the so-called liberals and the left were 100% correct about the Bush-Cheney crew. Despite assertions to the contrary, conservatives and the Christian Right are now exposed as having arrogantly and foolishly supported blatantly evil scoundrels. We now have proof, beyond disproof, that Republican leaders viewed them as little more than marks and dupes to be milked of their faith, money, political support, and the lifeblood of their son's and daughter's on the battlefields of Bush's and Cheney’s deceptive wars.
It is a sad but true statement that deceived and deluded Christians are much more responsible for the evils perpetrated by the Bush administration than any other group. They have arrogantly and foolishly supported those who simply pretended to have the same beliefs, even though their deeds provided stark and irrefutable evidence to the contrary. My recent articles and book expound upon the reasons why religious followers are so easily duped into doing and supporting blatant evil. Now the events of recent weeks have provided stunning evidence that these assertions and conclusions are true. Christians and conservatives must now come to grips with the sickening reality of the great harm they have caused to everyone else because of their blind support of scoundrels who merely pretended to serve the Creator, as a purposeful ploy to gain wealth and power.
What then is the purpose of "faith" but to prevent otherwise good people from seeking to understand truth and wisdom?

Conspiracy Theorists
My Nickels worth....
In the United States, conspiracy is a crime. Conspiracy is two or more people
(hey Oswald, where are you?)
who plan to commit a crime, WHETHER OR NOT the damn crime is committed!
A Conspiracy is the EASIEST crime for the DOJ/FBI to prove, in a court of law.
They rely on 'reasonable men and women' who can view the evidence presented and
reach a conclusion for a verdict of guilt.
A Theory, as in mathematics, is a given, without proof, but something we rely on
for calculations unless and until we find conclusive evidence that the theory is
wrong, and we change it accordingly.
A Theory is not a crime. And will never be prosecuted.
A Conspiracy Theorist, CT, is a tag, a moniker and or a label provided by the
media post JFK assassination when strange things began to come to light.
"Strange Things", indeed. I almost hear music from the Twilight Zone.....
CT is NOT a crime. But, those who dare to ASK ANY QUESTION which challenges the
status quo of what the government says, and the media prints and broadcasts,
thereby mutually providing each other with another Great American Hand Job, is
soon to be villified as a CONSPIRACY THEORIST whose motivation for daring to
question the set in concrete rendition of the stated position of the government,
is immediately cast as a communist, leftwing wing cult fanatic son of a bitch.
And all that for just asking a question such as; "who shot all those bullets in
Dealey Plaza?"
Fast forward to today's free speech First Amendment advocates who dare to ask,
not conspire, mind you, a simple question such as; "did you hear the explosions
coming from the basement area of the WTC and see the explosions preceding the
cascading upper floors during the collapse?"
Fast forward to presidential, vice presidential, and all those who serve at the
pleasure of the president "THEORIZING" that Weapons of Mass Destruction will
soon be appearing in the form of "mushroom clouds"
unless we preemptively attack Iraq and remove Saddam Hussein before his WMD come
down upon our heads. Additionally, 'we gotta fight them over there rather than
fight them over here". Now, that is a CONSPIRACY THEORY!
When does the 'theory' fall apart? Just as soon as we find, in spite of UN
already determining, that no WMD exist. But we have already preemptively invaded
a sovereign nation in spite of UN vehemently condemning such action in violation
of the Nuremberg findings which resulted in hanging those defendants who
committed crimes against peace and humanity during WWII.
President Truman appointed Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson as the US
representative prosecuting those Nazi's charged with War Crimes. In his opening
remarks to the Jury, Justice Jackson said, "The standards by which we judge
these defendant's today are the standards by which we shall be judged tomorrow."
Then the "Blame Game" starts. Must be the CIA. No, the State Department. OOPs,
wait a minute, now we know of the Office of Special Plans run by dual passport
carrying Pentagon Neocon's who have 're-engineered' the CIA's findings that the
source for the WMD 'intelligence' is a hoaxster who would benefit by a regime
change for his own purposes, and funneled this information in the form of
'intelligence' to the vice president, outside existing channels for such
information to be transmitted and reviewed along the way. More music, please!
Dare we ask questions about such revelations without being labelled as a
'CONSPIRACY THEORIST'? Isn't it amazing that someone with a concience provided
this information to a courageous media type?
With all this information floating around the world, is there any chance that
'reasonable men and women' would not question the veracity of any statement from
the United States that Iran has a nuclear weapons program?
The burning question of "how could this happen in this day and age the way the
government says it happened?", providing the person who dare ask such an inquiry
with a shove into the cellar of "conspiracy theorist's", just for ASKING the
damn question!
A homicide investigator never carries the results of one investigation into the
next. Those sort of theories don't work although there are certain guide lines
which are used. WHO has the motivation, opportunity and means to commit the
crime.
If we apply such a standard to asking the same QUESTION about all of the
incidents of 911, would that be a 'CONSPIRACY THEORY"? Stop the Presses! Arrest
All Homicide Detectives In Amerika!
Let's stop this nonsense and have the moral courage to ask the questions that
are being deflected by this absurd CT catch-all excuse to shelter the crimes of
the century.
And for those who don't yet know it, there is no requirement for enriched
uranium (plutonium) to construct a nuclear weapon. Material located in any
peaceful nuclear power plant will do just fine, thank you. The end result will
be a fission bomb. And could be a whopper! But the actual yield is yet another
'theory'. Determination can only be made upon detonation.
Which means, all this 'consiracy theory' posturing for the necessity for
attacking Iran, with or without bunker busting nukes, is irrelevant, outmoded
and must be addressed before someone becomes a nuclear wartime president.
That's my nickel, and I don't need any change, thanks.
Bests,
John McCarthy
